Isn't October a month in motion? We still remember the warmth of the summer sun, and we can’t help but miss it. Even as the rain falls and the leaves change colour, we know the sun is still somewhere there, waiting to come back again. It will return in all its glory one day, just as it always does.
Meanwhile, some enjoy it as we speak (oh, how we envy them!). And now, as October comes to a close, it’s time for our monthly wrap-up.
We recently sat down with our development, onboarding, commercial, and support teams to review the latest feedback on the new generation of our Sales and Events Management system, which we released a few months ago.
It’s always the little things that matter, and we often find that small tweaks—like alphabetical sorting in a drop-down menu or adding a simple search field—can make a big difference. We call this “polishing.”
Your feedback has been incredibly helpful, giving us plenty to work on for future updates. A huge thank you to our customers who took the time to share what would make Sales and Events Management even better.
This month alone, we made over 20 improvements and fixes to make the Sales and events management solution smoother and more intuitive.
Here are some of the highlights:
- Improved Event Request Handling: By simplifying the activity creation process and offering more accessible views for managing events, we’ve made it easier for your team to handle multiple tasks and track event details. This should lead to more efficient operations and a smoother workflow.
- Even Better Aggregated Occupancy Management: The updated hotel occupancy display lets you quickly assess room availability, helping you make informed decisions and better allocate resources.
- Increased Flexibility for Event Templates: With enhanced event templates, you can now easily manage and customise activities without leaving the event screen, allowing faster setup and fewer delays.
Each of these improvements aims to reduce time spent on repetitive tasks so you can focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional guest experiences.

We’ve always been committed to improving our solutions, but we’ve rarely made our ongoing development plans fully visible to customers—or even internally.
This approach was born out of our desire for agility, and our ability to respond to customer needs quickly. However, that never meant we didn’t have strategic plans or weren’t tracking the most requested features from our users.
To reflect this, we’re now preparing to share the core of our roadmap with everyone. This will allow those interested to stay informed about the new features and improvements currently under development and the most important future plans under consideration.
Beyond keeping you in the loop, we want to give you a tangible way to support some of these ideas so we can keep our finger on the pulse of what matters most to your business.
We expect developments on this front in the coming weeks, and as always, we look forward to your input.
Did I mention October feels like a month in motion? Well, it certainly was for some of our Clockers.
The month kicked off with a big moment for Dragomir (or Drago, as we call him), our energetic Head of Onboarding. His better half said “yes,” and he’s now joined the club of the married. A special moment for him—and for his mum, Albena, who’s been with Clock for more than 25 years (shhh, not everyone knows they’re related!).
Continuing the trend, Valentin from Customer Support proposed to his girlfriend, and rumor has it she said “yes” too!
On the business side, over the past two months, #TeamClock has been on the move, traveling and meeting partners and customers across Europe.
We’ve been part of some fantastic events, including Unconference Zurich, HSMA Day Heidelberg, Revenue Forum Scandinavian Tour in Copenhagen and Gothenburg, HotellerieSuisse Netzwerktagung Bern, UNConference Cologne, Independent Hotel Show London, Digital Hotel Day in Wolfsburg and more.
And we’re not slowing down, with more events planned for November, including EquipHotel Paris, World Travel Market London, HotelCamp Reykjavik, Independent Hotel Show Munich, and Horesta Copenhagen.
These events help us stay connected with our community, share insights, and keep building strong relationships.
